Parc Verger definietely lives upo to its high reputation. It
is marvellous to be greeted and treated like old friends, and
everything about the site and service is first class. We hope
to visit again and stay longer so we can experience all this
super area has to offer. Jennie and Rich 28/3/15
A very quiet & peaceful visit. Everyone including all the
other visitors were friensly and helpful. Lots of standing in
the middle of the site road talking. Michael & Susan 27/3/15
Delighted to have found your site and the quality of info provided
makes us want to come back for a longer stay. The Chapmans,
Pure luxury! What made our stop luxury was: 16A power; free
dogs; fully serviced pitch; roomy, perfectly level private hardstanding;
toilet seats; toilet paper; heated shower; wealth of information
provided. Vicky & Ian, 15/11/14
A very welcoming start and throughout our stay very helpful.
A lovely gentle quiet atmosphere to this lovely little site.
I would recommend and definitely use again. Tina and Stuart,
Very helpful, showed us clearly where everything was, nothing
seemed too much trouble. Great pitches with full facilities.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Nice to have free wifi. Nice gardens
and flowers round pitch. Clean tidy and very well maintained.
We'd read lots about Parc Verger in ARVM so it was lovely to
finally visit. Its a credit to you. Steve 22/8/14
Thank you for a lovely warm welcome. Possibly the cleanest
facilities we have ever come across on a campsite. A lovely
peaceful site, would definitely come again. Alison & Colin,
Di & Bob,
We got home safe, had a good journey back to Leeds after such
a fantastic time at your site. You made us feel so welcome we
didn't want to leave, perfect end to our holiday, hence why
we always had a smile on our faces.
Anyway I thought I'd give you some feedback in no particular
order but in a 'things we thought great' category as we can't
honestly think of anything we could suggest to have made our
stay better, as it was perfect. I've mainly commented on the
personal touches and not facilities as we thought you had all
the facilities needed for a lovely stay.
It was lovely to be greeted by you upon arrival and made to
feel so welcome. I know it won't always be possible to choose
pitches but that offer of a choice was great, also the offer
of a cup of tea/coffee was a nice touch.
Walking us around the site and showing us where things were
was great too.
What really came across to us was your true passion and love
for your business and customers. We are business owners too
and appreciate all the little touches you add to make people's
stay that little bit different. We certainly made use of the
Di's Delights and without that we would have missed out.
Again a nice touch was been handed your business card and been
told that if we had any problems when out to just phone you
up and you will try and help was great. It's little things like
that which add so much value but cost very little to do.
Putting the barrier down at night time added to the feeling
of been secure too.
It was clear to us that all the things you have done or put
in place is through experience, like having a washing line with
pegs and a wash basket there to carry your washing to the line.
We again thank you for making us feel so welcome and will certainly
be returning again, as I'd like to bring my parents and for
them to stay in the mobile home.
And finally the wave off from you and Bob as we were leaving
was a perfect ending to our holiday.
David, Kirstine & Valerie.
Just to let
you know we finally got home. Oh the British traffic. Sat for
hours on M25 and the M1. Thanks for a lovely time. As usual
a very relaxing time for us. Great to feel we are among friends.

Nice gardens and flowers around pitch. Clean, tidy and well

In 45 years of caravanning
we have never seen a site information pamphlet
which is anywhere near yours, which is so
informative and comprehensive. We look forward to hopefully
see you again and stay longer (age willing). - J&K Loder
are many things that are very good about Parc Verger but I just
want to highlight a couple.
the wonderful warm welcome we received including offer of a
cup of tea!
Discoveries has been really useful in helping us explore the
area and also suggestions from Bob.
are immacu;ate;ly clean and the fully serviced drive-through

always nice to be able to recommend a place to others and write
a positive review, this is one such case.
Parc Verger is a lovely site not far from Limoges in the Limosine
region of France, favoured by many tourers en-route to and from
Spain and by others such as ourselves just meandering around
site is on the outskirts of a village called Champanac la Riviere
between the two towns of Orador sur Vayres and Chalus. The village
is quite small but does have a boulangerie and most importantly
a bar. The owners of which are Sue (English) and her French
husband and is well worth a visit for one of the finest pizzas
I’ve ever tasted washed down with numerous glasses of
red house wine at 1 Euro per glass.
called ahead to see if there was room for our RV and were very
helpfully given directions. On arrival wew were met by Bob and
Di, the owners of Parc Verger who helped us settle in and made
us feel right at home.
site is very well laid out, although on a gentle slope all of
the piches are level and big enough for any RV or Motorhome.
Each pich is serviced by a Bourne offering 16 amp and water
and each has the use of a black and grey drainage point within
easy reach. There is also a utility building centrally located
that has heated showers and toilets that are in prestine condition.
The building also contains laundry facilities of a washing machine
WiFi internet connection is also available on-site which was
very handy, a charitable donation is kindly requested for this
Verger is the sort of place where you can relax and put your
feet up, the locals are very friendly and will greet you as
if they have known you for years. There is a dissused railway
track just 2 minutes walk from the site that has been turned
into a smooth tarmac cycle path that takes you on a lovely walk,
cycle or in our case skate to either Orador sur Vayres or Chalus
on a reasonably level route.
owners Bob and Di really do offer a warm welcome, a comfortable
stay and often go out of their way showing that nothing is too
much trouble. As hosts, you could not wish for a more helpful
and friendly couple. To make things that little bit easier for
guests, milk is available from the Bob and Di’s on-site
supply and bread is delivered daily from the local Boulanger.
There is also a local lady that offers local produce including
eggs and can be organised through the hosts.
summary, we would highly recommend Parc Verger not only as a
place to stay over when passing but for a quiet and comfortable
break in the beautiful French countryside.
Parc Verger is a
very nice place to go,we planned to stop for two days and stayed
for five weeks, the new toilet block and showers are the cleanest
we have seen, also washing machine and tumble dryer. While there
i had a medical problem and it was all sorted by mike and carol
the site warden, then when i had to go to hospital it was again
all sorted by bob and di who own the site, nothing is too much
trouble for them and there are some wonderful places to visit,
including local markets every week, dinos bar which is a walk
away is the place for a good meal, also this site has mobile
homes for rent and tents are welcome, all in all this is the
place for a care free stay. harveystc Visited: April 2011
many positive comments about Bob & Di's little place in
the Limoges, all I can say after an extended stay here is that
it lived up to our expectations - no mean feat!.
quiet with little intrusion of modern hustle and bustle, save
the countryside sounds of the local birds, frogs, crickets and
dogs. The site is suitable for taking the largest RV and has
9 full service pitches with several other hardstanding and room
for grass standings, all with electric. This year, a static
has been added as an additional option, and it has been evident
every day that maintenance and improvements are constantly on
the agenda. As I look out the window Bob, Di and Mike &
Carol are working on an area behind the bijou shower building,
clearing ground and tidying boundaries - no mean feat as things
seem to grow like lightning here during the better weather.
It is true
that the site does not have additional facilities specifically
for children, but in my personal opinion, it benefits from it's
targetting marketing rather than trying to cram everything in
and trying to please everyone. Having said that, there is an
RV behind me at the moment with 3 youngsters and they aren't
complaining that there's no games arcade or fast food mall...
We leave in
2 weeks, returning to the UK for a while, but hope that Bob
& Di will have space for us and be able to accept a request
for a booking around the turn of the year. If you haven't been
here before, it's a great stop, either for a single night, or
a longer period. It's been a wonderful time here, and the sadness
of leaving is tempered only because we know that we're going
